About

The 2022 ECA European Club Championships (the "Event") will take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland over the weekend 24/25 September. We would like to thank Let's Go Hydro and Belfast Kayak Academy for hosting the event, which is the first time it has taken place in Northern Ireland.

The Event is open to two men’s and two women’s club teams from each ECA member federation. The respective National Federations set the criteria for selection of their respective teams. The Event will attract up to 300 athletes and team personnel.

The Event is free for spectators to attend. Expected peak attendance on the Saturday and Sunday is 500 - 1000 people.

The competition itself is run under the European Canoe Association rules and coordinated by the British Canoeing and British Canoeing Polo Committee.

The Event will operate under the Public Liability Insurance of British Canoeing.

17 Male and 10 Female teams have registered. Details of the teams registered can be found in the COMPETITION section of the website.

The European Canoe Polo Championships are set to be held at Let’s Go Hydro in Carryduff this weekend as teams from around the continent clash to be crowned champions.
